Imazatosuji Line (Osaka Metro)

The dramatically improved access to the city center, contributing to the development of Osaka

Osaka's second "linear Metro" subway-Imazato-suji line was born in December 2006, making the most of the linear Metro's characteristics, such as small section tunnels, capability of running on sharp curves and steep gradient. The line is connected with JR, Keihan line and the existing subway lines expanding its subway network further, providing citizens with convenient railway service.
As subway network has expanded more and more, "Linear Metro" has become a safe and comfortable means of transportation for the region, promoting the activation and town development of the city, and contributing to the development of Osaka.
